This damage impact the nervous system to communicate resulting in physical, mental and psychiatric problems. Multiple sclerosis refers to scars or plaques in the white matter loss of myelin causes symptoms widely based on the signals that are interrupted. Loss of myelin makes the neurons ineffective causing loss of control on limbs, facial muscles, speech and other problems.
