First massage with medicated oil on affected area then a long, thick layer of cotton wool soaked with warm medicated oil is placed over that area. The Pichu is replaced periodically to keep it warm throughout the procedure. The selection of oil depends on type of dosha involvement and condition of the patient like in dandruff condition Dhoordrapatradi coconut oil is used. For Joints pain and stiffness kottamchukkadi oil, Pinda, Murivenna oil, for headache ksheerbala, sudhabala, For Uterine prolapsed Dhanwantarm oil, and Fissure- in- ano condition Jatayadi ghee or oil is used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Duration<\/strong> \u2013 30 mins , Minimum 7 \u2013 14 sessions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>BENEFITS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pichu, is an effective treatment for Vata disorder. It acts as snehana (lubrication), lekahana (Scraping), Vrana ropana (wound healing), Vedanaharan (Reduce pain) on localized area.
