Pharmacological action of Hinguvachadi Choornam:
Body Action: Vatakapittahara.
Metabolic Action: Carminative, Appetizer
Therapeutic Action: It is anti- flatulent,carminative,appetizer and antispasmodic herbal preparation. It stimulates gastric secretions and improves the digestive capacity. It relaxes the abdominal muscles and gives relief in abdominal cramps. Hinguvachadi choornam is used in the treatment of Digestive tract disorders, and it is also used to treat Piles, Hiccup, Chest pain, Back-ache, Abdominal complaints, Gastric complaints and Obstruction of stool and Urine. Along with this It also improves the function of the liver and helps in the secretion of bile salts by which it is beneficial in fat metabolism as well.
Hinguvachadi Choornam Dosage:
1 – 3 grams or 1 tsp once or twice a day before or after food or as directed by Physician along with buttermilk or warm water.
